Our Story

Waterfront Insurance Brokers began its journey in February 2010, founded by Managing Director Steven Manning. Steven's roots in the insurance industry run deep, having first joined Huddersfield-based Wilkinson Rodgers, a firm established in 1924, as an office junior in 1981. Over the years, he diligently climbed the ranks, eventually achieving the position of Managing Director. In 2006, he led the sale of the business on behalf of the shareholders to The Oval Group. After a three-year period working for the new ownership, Steven seized an opportunity to reacquire a portion of the business, bringing with him a dedicated team of five experienced colleagues. This marked the genesis of Waterfront Insurance Brokers Ltd, a company built on a foundation of expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Waterfront's growth has been nothing short of remarkable. Within just five years, the company doubled its staff size, reflecting its dedication to expanding its capabilities and better serving its clientele. The team at Waterfront boasts a wealth of experience, with some members having worked together for over 15 years.
