Our History

Originally founded as Grout Insurance Services and later as Grout & Judge, we have been trading as Grout Insurance Brokers since 2004. Our expertise in insurance for almshouse charities has been recognized by The Almshouse Association, who recommend us as a provider of insurance products for its members throughout the UK. Our founder, Douglas Grout, has been advising the Association on insurance matters since 1978.
