At Winter & Co., we underwrite a wide range of marine insurance products. Our classes of insurance outside binding authorities are arranged via a select panel of insurers under agency agreements. Our product offerings include:

1. Marine Trade Insurance: A multi-sectioned policy covering loss and damage to property, financial loss, hull & machinery, marine liabilities, public/products, and employers' liabilities for marinas, boatyards, marine trade, and marine service companies.

2. Protection & Indemnity (P&I) Insurance: A 'Club Rules' or Plain Language Policy covering liabilities related to marine vessels or rigs, including Collision, Passenger, Crew, Property, Pollution, Towage, and Wreck Removal liabilities.

3. Engineering Inspection: A statutory LOLER & PER inspection and testing service for lifting plant & pressure equipment.

4. Ship Repairers Liability (SRL) Insurance: A policy for shipyards and marine contractors involved in the repair, conversion, or re-fit of vessels.

5. Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance: Professional liability insurance for marine professionals, including surveyors, naval architects, consultants, yacht brokers, charter brokers, ship agents, and ship managers.

6. Directors & Officers/Trustees Liability (D&O) Insurance: Protection for senior management from personal and corporate liabilities of actual or alleged wrongdoing arising from HSE & HMRC investigations and employment disputes.

7. Commercial Legal Expenses Insurance: Provides access to legal advice and covers legal costs in pursuing or defending contract disputes, statutory license appeals, property protection, employment disputes, and tax protection.

8. Personal Accident/Illness Insurance: A group or individual policy providing capital or weekly benefit following death, permanent or temporary disablement of employees in the event of an accident or illness.

9. Cyber Liability Insurance: Covers damages to equipment, software, and third-party liabilities following a cyber attack.

10. Private Pleasurecraft Insurance: Private pleasure and charter vessels, including yachts, motorboats, classic yachts, traditional & historic craft, and residential houseboats.
