IMCS - Independent Motor Claim Services - is a nationwide network of consulting engineers and assessors providing a quality service for the motor insurance market, accident claims managers, fleet operators, and solicitors. We are a network of independent engineers and assessors, established in 1997 to meet the demands for quality vehicle inspection services nationwide. IMCS consists of a consortium of shareholders with affiliated members, all of which are members of accredited professional organisations.
Our team comprises of 70 qualified and highly trained engineers, providing full UK coverage from 17 regional offices, controlled centrally from a head office location. We have recognised the need for a simple, effective, and flexible solution to the vehicle damage assessing requirements of accident and claims specialists. To this end, we have utilised innovations in I.T. to enable real-time access by Head Office to data from all the regional offices. This means we can provide a swift response to all customer enquiries.

Imaging Services
Our imaging services include a complete vehicle damage computerised estimating and desktop imaging facility, controlled centrally from the IMCS Head Office. We employ only fully trained and experienced imaging engineers, with expert knowledge of all vehicle types included on the systems. Systems currently installed at Head Office include Audatex (Auda Enterprise), Inter-est, Glassmatix, and ARCS.
Management Information
Management information tailored to individual requirements can be provided. Reports can include:
Daily update regarding inspection and engineers' report dates
Weekly progress reports
Monthly statistics in Excel format giving details such as number of inspections, repair or total losses, percentages, savings, averages, and Service Level Agreement performance
Customer tracking facility
