Our Story

RCIB was founded by Mike Joseph, who has extensive experience in the insurance industry. He recognized that the internet was changing the way people shopped for insurance, and that many brokers were losing the personal touch. Mike set out to create a brokerage that would focus on individualized service, listening to customers and working to reduce their premiums. Poor Customer Service and Unfair Practices

Customers have expresssed severe dissatisfaction with Right Choice Insurance and its claims handling process. Many have reported difficulty in getting through to customer service, lengthy phone wait times, and unhelpful representatives. Some have even accused the company of hiding behind "we're just the brokers" excuse to avoid taking responsibility.

The insurance provider has been criticized for using third-party companies, such as Davies Group, which have been accused of poor handling of claims. One customer was left unable to contact Wakam, the insurance provider, and had to contact Right Choice for assistance. The company's response was unsatisfactory, with one reviewer reporting being met with accusations of shouting and being told to "F off" by a "manager".

Additionally, customers have reported receiving CCJs (County Court Judgments) for amounts they claim to not owe. Some have even been taken to small claims court, which has led to significant stress and financial burdens.

Unprofessional and Unfair Practices

Ruth Asolo and Candy Cane Fox, two reviewers, have shared similar experiences with Right Choice Insurance. Both reported dealing with unprofessional and unhelpful customer service representatives, who demanded excessive documentation and evidence. Ruth had to provide multiple sets of documentation, including pictures of her car in a locked garage and tenancy agreement, before her policy was finally validated. Candy Cane Fox, on the other hand, reported having her policy cancelled after just two days, despite paying online, and was then pursued by bailiffs for a payment she claims she does not owe.
